Kintyre Base
About Us
Kintyre Base is a Flexible Learning Resource, based within Linwood High School. We support breaking down barriers to learning through our relationship and strength-based approaches to allow individuals to engage with education. We support pupils to achieve through BGE and into SQA accreditation, through our range of tailored supports. We offer both full and part time timetables which are personalised to meet the needs of the individual.
Relationships
We build strong relationships with the family and existing supports around the young person to work together to provide the best education for the young person by offering strategies and techniques to support their social and emotional wellbeing. We work with a range of partners within the school including OneRen, BeActive, West Scotland College and Kustom Kruisers.

Subjects
We offer a range of educational opportunities at the Kintyre Base, both within the base itself and also through accessing subjects within the mainstream school. We also offer a range of opportunities to access educational opportunities within the wider community such as through our Outdoor Education partnership with OneRen, our community wellbeing trips or through the Skills Academy.
